#SERIES 45

Everybody can write

The first part of the customer’s buying journey is known as the “Awareness” stage.

This is where a customer becomes aware of a problem that they or their business is suffering from. They start looking for assistance with the problem and ultimately to see if there is a product or service that can help them to solve it.

Your potential customers will be using search engines to look up information on their specific problem. They’ll read articles, watch videos, listen to podcasts and ask questions on social media.

Search engines, such as Google, love content. They will show articles or videos that their algorithm feels are most helpful to users. In fact, creating regular content can give your website a boost in the search engine results.

Can you see why it’s important to be in front of those customers who are searching for help?

You can do this by creating content that talks about a specific problem or issue that your customers suffer from.

It all starts with the intro and the hook, where you identify the problem. This is where a reader will immediately feel like they’re in the right place and be inspired to read on.

As you proceed through your article, you’ll want to share some solutions or action points that will help the reader. What can you tell them in your article that will help them to get a quick win?

Ultimately, the end goal will be that you’ll want to generate a lead or a sale from your content. So at the end of the post, you’ll include a call to action. This is the specific action that you want the reader to take next.

If you’re looking to generate leads, then you might have an option where a reader could sign-up to learn more about your products or services. Perhaps you’ve got a free guide or some more great content you could share?

For product based businesses, you can link to specific products that will help a reader at the end of your post. The reader can then click-through and read more about your products, before making a purchase.

By now, you’re either really excited or a little afraid of writing. I get it, writing can feel challenging or like a lot of work.

I’ve got a secret for you though… anyone can do it.

If you’re able to talk about your products or services and how they help your customers, then you’re able to write a blog post.

In fact, I’ve written some blog post on our websites as well as on my LinkedIn, talking about any topic that related to our or client's business. If you follow the steps, you’ll find yourself creating content quickly and easily.

You might be surprised about just how easy content creation is once you’ve got started.

P.S. You may feel like you’ll never have time to create content, even after reading our blog post. If that’s the case, we do offer content creation services and I’d be happy to talk about them with you. Please visit my booking calendar and pick a time / date that suits you. Please book a meeting with me using my calendar here.
